HOA Election Process

Board of Directors Election Process and Result Posting
1) Ballots were placed in the mail 1/3/25.
2) Chairperson Janet Layten was given custody of the PO Box key on 1/2/25. Janet and her Co-Chair Barbara Leach, will go to the Post Office to collect all the mail in ballots, place them in a sealed container, and bring to the meeting 1/21/25. No ballots will be collected until 1/21/25. Ballots may be mailed up until 1/21/25, and any ballot received post marked after 1/21/25 will be marked as ineligible. a. NOTE: if you do not receive a ballot contact the Chair or Co-Chair for a replacement ballot

3) There will be a ballot box available in the meeting room for any hand-delivery ballots. Janet and Barbara will collect all hand delivered ballots at the meeting.
4) The Chair/Co-Chair, along with 3 other committee members, will retreat to a private room where ballots will be sorted, logged, and tabulated.
5) The Chairperson or Co-Chair and at least one other committee member will continue to check the PO Box for remaining ballots up until 1/27/25.
6) Any remaining ballots will be opened and processed in the presence of the Chair/Co-Chair and at least one committee member. The ballots will be added to the previous total for a final voting tabulation. 7) Voting results will be posted on the Official Glenmary HOA website on 1/27/25. The detailed voting summary depicting the random lot #, will also be posted on the website for confirmation and validation of votes.
