RE: Special Members Meeting for Election of 4 Board of Directors
The election mailing which includes the proxies and candidate bios were mailed at the Post Office, on 1/3, with expected delivery within 4 days. However, the record snow and cold weather has caused delays in the normal postal service delivery. I have been in discussion with the Board and Janet Layten, as a result of the extreme weather conditions we have decided to reschedule the Special Member meeting for the Election of 4 Board position to February 4, 2025. The ballots MUST be post marked no later than 1/28/25. You will still be allowed to hand deliver your ballot the day of the meeting 2/4/25. We have confirmation of the meeting location, which is the Fern Creek Community Center, Tuesday 2/4/25, sign in 6:00 pm, meeting begins 6:30 pm. New Election Timeline: 1/28/25 Deadline for mail in ballots. (ballots must be post marked no later than 1/28/25 to be eligible) 2/4/25 4:00 - Chair and Co-Chair will collect ballots from designated PO Box, placed in seal container, and brought to the designated meeting. 4:30 - Chair/Co-Chair and committee will begin the process of opening, sorting, and tabulating ballots. 6:00 - Special Members Meeting sign in will begin NOTE: Ballot box for all hand delivered ballots will be set up at the sign in table. The hand delivered ballot box will have a tamper proof seal. 6:30 - Meeting will be called to order 7:00 - Chair and Co-Chair will collect the ballots from the on site ballot box All Ballots will be processed at the meeting. The Chairperson has the authority to extend the timeframe, if some unforeseen issue arises and the count cannot be concluded in a reasonable time. Respectfully
